World Art Day
However World Art Day must be colourful and bright,
It will always be followed by World Art Night.
Time for the rats to go crawling around,
They whisper and rustle, piss and shit on our ground.
While searching for victims with their mean little eyes,
The world is asleep not aware of their lies.
Seduced are the dumb, infected their mind,
Not afraid to get hurt or treated unkind.
However, we artists, let us stick to our sight,
Knowing art and art making will always need light.
Art connects people, is making us strong,
Learns us what is good and especially what is wrong.
Art connects people, heals, moves, makes them kind.
Rats do the very opposite: they divide us in mind.
So whenever a rat appears during the day,
Send him back to his cave, that’s where he can stay.
Why should we attack them, knowing all that we do
Is fight against darkness like kids shouting “Booo…!”
Rats won’t disappear, they’re like a species from Hell,
But their power will weaken the more they will tell.
My passion gets stronger, creating as long as I may,
Because every time the sun rises, for me it is World Art Day!
